My name is Mark and I have been the face of Southern PC Doctor for the last 14 years and, in the world of IT for the last 19 years (as of 2017). Based in Waterlooville I offer a mobile computer PC and laptop repair service to

Waterlooville, Portsmouth, Gosport, Petersfield

and everywhere in between. Out of area can be covered but I would charge mileage see the photo gallery above for a service coverage map.

I can normally get to you within 24 hours and sometimes the same day, carrying essential spares with me just in case you need parts to get you up and running again, I pride myself on troubleshooting all manner of internet, broadband and wireless issues.

More importantly I communicate with you the customer to make you feel at ease with the issues you face and how I am going to fix them, after all you have invited me in to your home to work on your PC which can be scary in itself, I can explain what I propose to do to fix the issues and give advice on steps to stop the issues from returning.

So if you are having  IT nightmare’s with your Computer PC or other devices etc then please do not hesitate to call me for a friendly no obligation chat and to give you a rough idea of costs.

I can accept Cash, Credit / Debit cards (via a mobile card terminal) and best of all I do not charge VAT because I am not registered, why pay that 20% extra when you don’t need to.

  1. Mark installed my new HP printer following failed attempts to do so myself.

    I have used Mark several occasions in the past, He just gets the job done with no fuss. I would recommend Southern PC Doctor to anyone with computer troubles.

  2. Windows OS upgrade and setup a couple of shortcuts from the Windows desktop.

    Mark arrived promptly at the agreed time and was quietly efficient in completing the requested task. The price for the time spent completing the tasks was precisely as expected.

  3. Troubleshoot, no connection to internet

    We lost connection to internet on our desktop pc. Mark was able to restore it. Mark was also able to advise us on buying a new pc and ordered it for us on line on his visit. He will return at a later date to set it up for us. We have used Mark before and have always found him very knowledgeable and helpful.

  4. Rectify intermittent internet and clean up laptop

    Mark was very thorough with everything he did and was extremely knowledgeable about the computer and all the systems that were on it. I now have a computer that I can now use on the internet without it consistently dropping out. Would highly recommend Mark to anyone.

    Mark arrived promptly, passionate and knowledgeable on all matters IT I explained each problem and he resolved each issue - also provided extra advice, downloaded anti virus and data back up and felt very well dealt with on his departure

  7. Work to speed up slow PC

    Usual professional approach. Undertook what I asked to be done. Some work not undertaken because it would have entailed a Win 10 reinstall, something I didn't want at this stage. Something for the future.

  9. New fan fitted to tower computer plus general advice

    It's a minefield finding someone reliable to mend a computer and I'm so glad I chose Mark. His prices are very reasonable, the hourly rate is for the whole hour so if he fixes the problem before that he's more than happy to advise on other problems you might have, and he explains in plain English what's wrong and what needs to be done. He also responded quickly to my text and made an appointment that same day. Definitely the man to go if you have a problem with your computer or other devices.

  10. Dealt with problem of too many black screens for failed Internet connection. Changed internet provider. Explained how to back up files.

    He was very patient with an older customer who does not see or hear too well and answered all my questions. Very calm, understanding and professional.
