  3. Repair internet service

    Having 1st contacted my internet provider about no internet , 1hr of phone call,I was sent a new modem which I was assured would resolve the matter. It arrived 4 days later and I installed it with no change .They then sent an engineer 3 days later and was told the fault was in the BT exchange and he would arrive within 3 days After 3 days contacted them again to find they had not contacted BT 2 days later BT arrived stating fault was not there and modem provided was not compatible . In shear frustration Steve was rung he stated he would sort out a new modem and bring it over as soon as it arrived,2 days later he was on the doorstep with a new modem plugged it in and sorted out the problem which was something I could never have done as internet company only provides 1 type of modem which was not suitable for my set up. I will always ring Steve in the future as he knew what he was doing, explained the problems in a way I could understand and gave very good advice

  4. De-Cluttered PC and installed new Printer

    Steve arrived at the appointed time, we talked through the problem and he sorted it out very quickly. Also set up new printer for me. He was much quicker than I would have been!! Money well spent, will use again should the need arise.

  5. Reinstalled OS (Windows 10) following crash and rescued HD Data and Installed New HD

    Pleased with Steve's work, he collected the 'dead' PC and returned it (repaired) on schedule. He backed-up the existing HD, installed a new HD, installed the Windows 10 OS then reloaded the new HD with content from the old (part damaged) HD. Old HD returned. Spent two hours reconfiguring the 'NEW' PC at my home so that the pre-exiting programs were reloaded and reconnected email accounts etc. I'd use Steve again , reassuring technical knowledge.

  6. Assessment of failed laptop for dispute resolution

    I am absolutely delighted to have found Steve; he went the extra mile to help me, where every other company I approached didn't want to get involved. He collected and returned the machine from my workplace, which made things very easy for me, and his communication throughout was superb. I have no hesitation recommending SBG Computers whatsoever, and I am sure that I will be using them again in the future.

  7. Deal with error sign on Outlook

    Steve appears like a person you can trust and behaves as such. He came on time and got on with the task on hand assiduously. I was very pleased with what he did and will call him again in the future.

  8. Our laptop protection was not working because windows had stopped updating. He reinstalled windows and put new protection update on laptop.

    Steve needed to take the laptop away as there was too much to do in situ. It now seems to be working well although we have only had it back a couple of days.

  9. Our PC had been affected by a problem with a Window's update

    WE HAVE USED STEVE 3 TIMES NOW AND HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SO RELIABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN SOLVING OUR PROBLEMS. HE HAD EVERYTHING UP AND RUNNING IN 40 MINUTES AND ANSWERED A FEW QUESTIONS. WE ARE GEEKS WHEN IT COMES TO COMMON SENSE WITH PC'S!! SO HOPEFULLY HE WON'T RETIRE FOR A WHILE YET. THANKS SO MUCH.
